H.E. RAO Hongwei Met with the Rwandan Minister of Defense

On October 11th, 2019, His Excellency RAO Hongwei, Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, met with Honorable Major General Albert Murasira, Minister of Defense of Rwanda.

                                               

Ambassador RAO said, the current bilateral and military relations between China and Rwanda were at their best in history, with exchanges and cooperation in all areas and at all levels flourishing.This year marked the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. China held grand celebrations a few days ago, believed that his Honorable would experience a new scene of development and changes during his upcoming visit to China. Ambassador RAO wished Maj. Gen. Murasira’ visit to China a complete success.

                                               

Reviewing his unforgettable experience in China several years ago, Maj. Gen. Murasira expressed his congratulations and admiration on China’s remarkable developmental achievements in recent years. He said, Rwanda attached great importance to the friendly cooperative relations with China and sincerely appreciated China’s valuable support for Rwanda’s development in various fields including military affairs over the years. The Rwandan side was willing to work together with the Chinese side, strengthen the exchanges and cooperation and push the bilateral military relations to a new high. They then watched a video of the Chinese military parade in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC.
