On December 22, 2021, His Excellency Rao Hongwei, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Rwanda, met with Her Excellency Rania Mahmoud El Banna, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Rwanda.

Ambassador Rao congratulated the new envoy on her assumption of duty. Both sides exchanged views on Rwanda’s socio-economic development and the relations of respective countries with Rwanda, as well as other regional issues of common interest. They agreed that the two missions would further enhance exchanges and communications.

Ambassador Rao also presented a book and magazine on China-Rwanda relations to Ambassador Rania Mahmoud El Banna after the meeting.
