On November 17, H.E. Mr. Wang Xuekun visited the China-Rwanda Agricultural Technology Demonstration Center located at Huye District, Southern Province. Together with officials of Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB), he greeted Chinese experts and Rwandan trainees who were on a training course on cultivation and processing technologies of tropical food crops.

Dr. Florence Uwamahoro, Deputy Director General in charge of Agriculture Development of RAB, thanked China for its strong support for Rwanda's agricultural development. She said that agricultural cooperation between the two countries has made important contributions to Rwanda's national transformation and people's well-being, with Juncao technology being a good example. Rwanda will continue to learn from China's experiences and aim for further fruitful agricultural cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Wang Xuekun encouraged the trainees to share and spread the knowledge they acquired during the course. He said that China will actively implement the proposal by President Xi Jinping at the China-Africa Leaders’ Dialogue, continue to help Rwanda’s agricultural modernization to achieve common development.

Ambassador Wang Xuekun also had in-depth exchanges with Rwanda officials and Chinese experts on deepening China-Rwanda agricultural cooperation.
