On November 11, the Rwanda Chinese Alumni Organization (RCAO) and District of Kicukiro jointly organized Umuganda activity to mark the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Rwanda. More than 200 people including H.E. Wang Xuekun and his spouse, District Executive Administrator of Kicukiro, Mr. Antoine Mutsinzi, representatives of RCAO, representatives of Chinese citizens in Rwanda and local people, participated in the activity.
Mr. Antoine and Mr. Theoneste Higaniro, Chairperson of RCAO, thanked China for its long-term support for Rwanda’s socio-economic development. They said that the participation of the Ambassador and Chinese friends in Rwanda in Umuganda, carried special meaning and highlighted the profound friendship between Rwanda and China. They are willing to make new contributions to deepening cooperation between the two countries.
Amb. Wang said that this Umuganda coincides with the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Rwanda, and is the epitome of long-lasting partnership between China and Rwanda, marked by mutual respect. All people present in the event are all participants and witnesses of China-Rwanda friendship. He is willing to work with everyone for new development of the bilateral ties.
