On September 15th , the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda hosted a film screening event “Chinese Movie Night” in Kigali, and the film screened was NICE VIEW. The Chinese Ambassador H.E. WANG Xuekun and the Mayor of Kigali Mr. Pudence RUBINGISA attended the event.
Amb. Wang said that the film demonstrates virtues of Chinese people such as perseverance, self-reliance, hard work and innovation. This is in line with the Rwandan social values. He encouraged attendants to use this opportunity to learn more about China and the Chinese people, and build stronger bonds between the two peoples. Mayor Rubingisa praised the friendship and understanding between Rwanda and China, and reaffirmed commitments to enhancing the ties between the two peoples.
After the movie, Rwanda guests shared their views. They spoke highly of the film and expressed their commitments to deepen Rwanda-China ties.
