On March 25^th, 2021, His Excellency Rao Hongwei, Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, met with H. E. Doudou Sow, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Rwanda.

Ambassador Rao congratulated the new envoy on his assumption and shared personal working experience in Rwanda. Both sides exchanged views on the relations of each country with Rwanda, China-Africa relations as well as Rwanda's socio-economic development. They agreed that China and Senegal maintained profound friendship, and the two missions would further enhance exchanges and communications.

Ambassador Rao also presented China and Rwanda, the first published book on China-Rwanda relations to Ambassador Sow after the meeting.
