Notice on Adjustment of Testing Requirements of Recovery Confirmation for People Suspected of Having COVID

Effective on April 14th, people suspected of having been infected of COVID-19 no longer need to provide X-ray or CT scan result of lungs when they apply recovery confirmation.

They need to provide two consecutive negative PCR nucleic acid tests and send them to the Chinese Embassy's email address: consulate_rwa@mfa.gov.cn. The two PCR tests should be done with an interval of 24 hours and within 72 hours before sending the results to the Embassy’s email. The Embassy will reply in time to confirm the recovery. Passengers should provide this reply when applying health code for traveling to China. 

People suspected of having been infected of COVID-19 include: 1. PCR nucleic acid test has been positive; 2. IgM or IgG antibody has been positive before being fully vaccinated.
